If you are aged between 12 (Start of Year 8) and 17 then you can become an air cadet at Romsey, if you are interested in joining please get in touch using our contact form and a member of Squadron Staff will get back to you and discuss a suitable evening to come and see what it’s all about.

Once you join, you’ll complete your initial training that will give you a base level of understanding across several of the activities that cadets offers, this will take around 6 months and mixed in with other activities. 

Once you complete your initial training, more activities will open up for you as you: start progressing through the training sylabus on the way to potentially becoming an instructor, start proving yourself as a leader and start to climb the rank structure as a cadet non commisioned officer (NCO), or simply just take every opportunity to do all the activities we can offer!

As you progress through cadets new levels of activities become available allowing you to push yourself further than before.
