Become a Member of the Civilian Welfare Committee

Over 20? Seeking a new challenge? But don’t have the time to become a member of staff, but still want to help out at Romsey, then the Civilian Welfare Committee is for you.

Meetings take place once every 2-3 months, and that is the only commitment required. The Civilian Welfare Committee ensures the wellbeing of the unit and making sure that the unit can continue to support itself financially; this could include planning fundraising activities for the squadron and arranging social events in the community.

You could be responsible for managing the squadron accounts if it matches your skill set, or chairing the entire committee. It’s a great place to start within the ATC, giving you the opportunity to support the cadets and staff without the time commitment expected from the staff volunteers.
